  • Swirl

The Swirl, taught by Tammy Morris is a great beginner pole move. It helps to understand the concept of getting momentum without using the limbs. This is not only a nice beginner pole move but can be use as a transition to the floor in both Exotic and Lyrical.

  • The Back Bend Kick

This beginner transition is a beautiful move that can be used in Exotic and Lyrical. Make sure to watch our tutorial on the Backbend first.

  • Figure Skater Spin

Tammy Morris teaches you the Figure Skater Spin. This is a beginner spin that should be started with two arms on the pole. Eventually it can become a more beginner/intermediate pole move by releasing that second arm.
