Pirate Spin
Beginner Pole
•
2m 41s
The Pirate Spin is naturally easier for students that are more flexible though anyone can achieve it with the proper technique. The side setups are a little more difficult than the moves facing the pole so if you do have trouble with this one, go back and practice pole spins that face the pole. And remember to engage that top shoulder!
This move is taught by Tammy Morris.

Tammy Morris teaches you the Figure Skater Spin. This is a beginner spin that should be started with two arms on the pole. Eventually it can become a more beginner/intermediate pole move by releasing that second arm.

Baby Ballerina
Tammy Morris will teach you how to do the Ballerina. As you can see, she is pregnant in this video. Please consult your physician before participating in any new exercise if you are pregnant.
This is a beginner pole spin and can be any stylized for exotic, lyrical or kept as a pole spin.

Attitude Spin
The Attitude Spin, taught by Tammy Morris, is a beginner spin. Though it shouldn't be one of the first moves you attempt as it is an outside leg hook which means you can't keep one foot on the ground at all times.
